CNN Headline News not in HD?

I am in the NY area and something bugs me -- why is it that channel 101 (Headline News) is not broadcasted in HD?  I am a fan of HLN Morning Express and have seen it across the country broadcasted in HD but never in NY.  Anyone have info on this matter?  Thanks for your help. Smiley Happy

Well it's been predicted for what, about three years now? So one of these days somebody will be right. 🙂

It has been three and a half years since this posting, question is why doesn't Verizon have HD version of this channel HLN?

I have called VERZON several times about CNN [Anderson Cooper] not being availabel - the screen shows "channel 600 is currently not availabel"]  A was led through all the motions af "dis-connecting and connecting" etc.  ad nauseam. Never was I told that CNN is available on "regular"  - non HD!

Verizon has sold me a product that they can not deliver!

Cut the cord?

CNN HD ch 600 is available.  Cooper is in HD.

CNN HLN HD is not. 601 in my area is a offer to update to quantum 50m (which I already have).

I'm in Baltimore, same crap. I have CNN HD, not HLN. Makes no sense. Get your $%#@ together, Verizon.

This is a peer to peer support forum.

Verizon doesn't respond here.
And it has been noted that Verizon has limited HD slots so they have to be selective on what channels are carried in HD and which aren't.
