I previously had the old ONT with the old cable boxes. I just moved and have the new Fios TV One boxes that are wireless. I use Orbi WiFi and I prefer them because they have can handle 2.4 and 5 Ghz networks with one SSID instead of the clunky way the Verizon Wireless router does with 2 separate SSIDs.
Anyway I turned all WiFi OFF on the Verzion Router and am using the Orbi as a Wireless Access Point. This works great except for the fact that I can't use the Fios TV One boxes in Wireless mode. I have to use COAX which stinks because I was looking to put a TV in a spot where I don't have a COAX drop. Has anyone gotten this to work?

In wireless mode the Fios one minis rely on a hidden network that the Quantum router provides. There are several posts on using your own router with the ones, maybe one of them could get you an znswer. Check here:
