Channel up skipping several channels

All of the sudden, BOTH of my Fios remotes (the original and smart) skip several channels when pressing channel up or down. This happens whether or not favorites or all subscribed channels are selected in guide filters. It happens whenever or not system settings are set to tune flip by favorites or All channels.  Inside the actual tv guide, the selector up/down arrows work fine, but the channel up/down. Still skips several channels.

this is a recent change. Has not always worked like this. No recent changes were made. I have a Samsung tv, but problem seems to be a Fios issue.

Unplug power to the Fios box for 3 minutes then plug it back in. see if that helps. If not try re-programming the remote.
