Connect Laptop to Set Top Box

Hello there,

I have an s-video cable that I have connected to my set top box. However I am not able to see anything from my laptop on the tv. I also did shift+f8 (Dell laptop) but that does not work. Does anyone know how to connect your laptop to STB and watch content on TV.

The S-Video on a STB is an output not an input which is why your connection didn't do anything.  There are no inputs that are functional on Verizon's boxes Smiley Sad

Connect the S Video Cable from the Laptop to the TV, bypassing the STB.
