Customer Service is Nonexistent

it’s unfortunate that Verizon provides the best internet in the area because they do not care about their customers and their customer service is nonexistent. This is the second time I’ve had an issue with my cable box and have gone through the same painful experience. The last time it took almost a month for my issue to be resolved, which was swapping out the box. Now my mini is having the same issue with losing connection. Tried to use the chat, which they say is the fastest way to receive assistance. Spent an hour only to be abandoned multiple times, then have the person close out my chat, saying for contacting us, without assisting. I’ve wasted an hour and at the same place. And now will have to call and spend more time and jump through hoops just to hopefully receive assistance. It’s easier to just cancel the service.

Try reaching out to Verizon on Twitter, or here:

Verizon Direct forum | DSLReports, ISP Information

They are more direct ways to get a tech and may be less frustrating for you.

Is the mini wired or using WiFi?

Have you tried Powering down (unplugging) the entire system for at least 3 minutes, power the router back up first, when stable power back the VMS, when stable power the mini. the minis ALWAYS work better when using either ethernet or coax connections.
