New Fios install here so everything is new. While I have no issues with internet and TV is fine for the most part, this DVR is getting to be annoying. Most things do record as programmed, but every so often it wont record a show, or record the first 2 minutes of a 1 hour show. Then sometimes all the recorded shows appear to be gone from the DVR menu. On a few occaisions, a message on the screen asked for me to restart the VMS. I was not expecting these problems, hoping there is a simple solution.
First thing to do is remove power from everything, then starting with the router plug everything back in again.
