DVR Set Top Box Problems - Picture Freeze

I just upgraded to the DVR STB and I have had nothing but problems.  The first STB was defective.  The second STB, while it works, it does not work consistently.  There are times when the box will not power on and at other times, the picture and the audio freezes.  I thought it might be my coax cable, but I did not have any of these problems prior to upgrading from the standard STB.  If anyone has any thoughts/suggestions/remedies I would certainly like to hear them.

I believe the best option in your case is to call provider and ask them to bring a new DVR STB to replace the malfunctioning one.
