I have Fios one DVR.
I had a series programmed to record.
I canceled the series that I no longer wanted to record.
A few days later, the series comes back to programming and the episodes start recording again.
I have to cancel the series again.
Every few days, repeat this process.
Is there a way to keep the canceled series canceled?

You could try this:
Main Menu > Customer Support > Top Support Tools > Fix Fios TV Issues
Or this, but it may remove any progrms you have stored:
Main Menu > Settings > System>Reset Settings
Also, have you done a power-cycle on the unit?

I have a different system as I don't have exactly the same menu items as you. Maybe I specified it wrong. I can't figure out what Verizon calls its systems. Maybe what I have is called Fios TV+.
I have done a reboot of the system (both the DVR & the little streaming box).. We'll see if that fixes the issue. It takes awhile fort the canceled programs to come back.
I'm suspicious that the support team resets stuff on their side whenever I report some kind of problem and this is forcing a refresh of the programming. But you'd think the programming would save occasionally so future downloads would match.

Yes you may have the new Stream TV boxes. They are so new very little is known about how to troubleshoot them, so you need to look here:
