Do I still need to connect Coax to the Router if connecting TV One Mini over WiFi

I've found a lot of posts discussing this topic, but specifically I'm looking to know if the Coax connection from the ONT to the Fios Router is required if a TV One Mini is connect ONLY over WiFi.
So the scenario would be:
ONT connected to Fios Router via Ethernet only (no Coax)
ONT connected to the primary TV One STB (non-mini) via Coax
TV One Mini connected via WiFi
I'm looking to understand more how the Mini connects over WiFi and if the router it connects to requires a Coax connection from the ONT and for what purpose if the Mini is connecting only over WiFi?
If anyone has any insight?

Coax connection between the ONT and the router is never required, provided your subscription speed is higher than 100Mbps.
ONT coax needs to connect to the main STB, and main STB needs to connect the router, but the router does not communication with the ONT on coax, unless you have subscription speed lower than 100Mbps, on MoCA WAN.
The mini's could connect to the main STB through WiFi, Ethernet, or Coax (? I am not sure about coax).
