I would like an TV package that does not offer ESPN.  I can no longer tolerate their alt left bias, (recently Ms. Hill called our President a white supremist, and all those supporting him racists).  This is after firing Curt Schilling for expressing conservative views.  This is a policy, an ongoing political expression. 
My money can, at no level, support such a stance.  
Is there such a package?  I do not want to leave Fios, but would have to if no alternative exists.  Thank-you.

P.S. be fair to Curt and fire Ms. Hill to teach all that you leave your personal thoughts offline when your a public figure. PERIOD. Respect the President no matter who it is.

Thanks Rob for stating the obvious and know you have support as I to am tired of the disrespect that is displayed by people that have no right to use their celebrity to push their own, mostly unsupported, personal opinions. Actors should act, sport broadcasters should talk sports. But all of a sudden everyone is a expert on politics. I'll bet non of them who have commented one way or the other have never even read the constitution. Americans need to support their president and their constitution. Try watching OAN One America News to get real news without the additional political "opinions".

totally agree.  their programming has gone downhill drastically over the last two years.  I can't believe we have to pay such a high price for such a dissappointing channel.

There are pacakages that contain no sports channels.

Unfortunately, there are no packages that carry sports but not ESPN.

I am not aware of any provider that does.

What bundle does not include ESPN?  I don't care about the sports bundles.  When I look online it looks like all of the levels include ESPN.  Thanks, Jennifer

The "custom" plans originally offered the option to not have sports.  

I am no longer in a Verizon area and cannot check if ESPN is still not included in these plans.  I do know that Verizon was sued over this, and they may have been forced to add it back.

You have to go with custom tv plans  (not the levels like ultimate, preferred, etc).

Then search through options.

Be prepared that ESPN is big enough to be in many plans.

And it is similar across most providers.

Maybe try complaining to them that you don't like the message they are sending.

I am sick and tired of paying for ESPN!  It is ridiculous that the only TV package that doesn't not include ESPN also drops my favorite History Channels & A&E.  What cannot Verizon allow customers to drop ESPN which is the most expensive cable worthless cable channel ?   I am a Verizon stockholder and will bring this issue up at the next stockholders' meeting.

Verizon needs to review their bundles.  I don't want to support channels for organizations I find despicable.  Like the NFL and ESPN.  We should be able to choose ala carte the channels we want to support.

Why can't they do bundles like this: 100 channels, 200 channels, 300 channels, etc. of your choice?  Don't you think that would be some good customer-focused programming?

I understand the contractual issues that bind them when they negotiate with entities like the NFL, but they need to modify those T's & C's for their customers!

They have similar contracts with all providers.
That's why no provider has a true a la carte service.

Different content providers charge different rates.

Imagine the billing nightmare when the 100 channels you want only cost $75 while the 100 I want cost $87.50?

No way to have a one price fits all.

Plus pricing to cable companies reflects the number of subscribers. If you want a lesser watched channel, you might actually have to pay more.

And how do I as a content provider price my content?

Imagine a channel like AMC. People rush to sign up for Breaking Bad, but when that season is over, they all drop. That can wreck havoc on a cash flow.

Another reason its there is that certain companies, in this case Disney, insists on negotiating for all their products.  They negotiate which packages various channels are offered in.   So if Verizon wants some of their channels they have to carry others.
