Last week, i spent a bunch of money to upgrade to Enhanced Premium DVR and Gigabit internet.
i can not tell you how disappointed i am in the new system .
Every channel change, every menu item, the guide, everything has a slight lag on it. I find it sooo annoying and makes me very agrravated. This is one of the main reasons i switched from Optimum years ago. Now i am faced with this dilemma again. It is not a HUGE delay, but it is an delay none the less that was not there with the old system. I thought i was paying for "the best", and clearly this is not.
anybody have a simiilar situation, or any solutions? thank you
one more side note, trying to watch DVR from a remote device "another great feature"
is useless and works 1 out of 10 times..this was a big waste of money
What model DVR did you have before?
Maybe I have gotten immune to it, but I don't see a noticeable delay.
I use the remote DVFR viewing feature quite often with no issues.
Does it work well when on your local wifi?
What model router are you using?
sorry, i dont know the model, they are now gone from the house.
yes it works on local wifi..but only sometiimes. away from the home, hardly ever.
Have you tried rebooting router and stb? Also, try reloading the app.
