I called VZ this morning to request a credit for the 4 days of FIOS outage (problems were on their side).
I am on a bundle with 4 HD STB, premium channels with a bill running close to $200 every month.
They offered FIVE DOLLARS credit.
I've been one of their customers for more than 5 years and now, I am out of Verizon within a month.
We finally have TV at last after 4 days in the dark. Problems were on the VZ side... no signal was coming through till our STB.The screwup was somewhere
in the VZ computer. That was a painful process as i had to spent a few hours on the phone over a few days to get them to come and check by themselves.
sorry. I don't want to spend another 30 mn on the phone. I already lost a few hours with them during FIOS outage.
That is the way Verizon quantifies the pain of not having TV for 4 days... $5 does not even get you an HD ppv movie or even a meal...
Verizons service is not free nor should be your time Titan, get a supervisor and in addition to your $6.45 a day get compensated for your time for both calls!
When you call the Service Center at the phone prompts keep saying "speak to an agent" until someone picks up. It should get you to a real person a little faster that way.
