This is extremely frustrating. Tried all the codes for Harman Kardon listed in the remote's instruction manual. Also did the procedure where it just tests all the codes (if you press the button like 300 times). None of the codes works, so this remote will not turn my receiver on/off or control the volume.
Has anyone gotten this remote to work with this receiver?
Having to use a separate remote for the volume sucks. I can't use the STB's volume control, because I'm using HDMI from the STB to the TV, then optical from the TV to the receiver. (STB volume control only controls the analog out from the STB.)
If you have done the code search (300 times pressing you mentioned), then theres no way the remote will be able to function with your device. I'm sorry for the problems this has caused you.
