I have a single Fios One box connected to a 2008 vintage Sharp Aquos. When I attempt to bring up the Program Guide by pressing the Guide Button, I get the following message. "Error Opening Guide". When I attempt to bring up the Info while watching a program, all I get is the channel #. A second press of the Info Button give the message "EPG Info Not Available".
Also, Autotune to HD Channels when enabled does not work either.
I've powered off the box for an hour, re-plugged it in, to no avail.
Suggestions??

My suggestions are general in nature as don't have any exposure with this unit.
. Check all wiring to make sure nothing is loose
. If there is a reset option in the various trees, consider a reset.

Legacy 4100 series STBs need a connection to a Fios router in order to create & update the channel guide.
Fios routers will automatically create the proper network connections to accomplish this. Non-Fios routers can be used, but they often require custom programming to duplicate what the Fios router automatically does.
Having said that, a few questions:
. Is the router a Fios or 3rd party?
. If the router is a 3rd party, has it been configured for the STB?
. Is the STB a legacy 4100 or something else?
.

FIOS Router and Extender installed by FIOS in 9/2021. Router is G3100 and Extender is E3200.
. If the router is a 3rd party, has it been configured for the STB?
N/A - see above.
. Is the STB a legacy 4100 or something else?
Not sure what you mean by "Legacy" , but when STB Model# in Settings is:VMS4100P2.
Hope this helps.

Ah! Good to see that the router & extender are Verizon's.
My 4100 is a VMS4100. I suspect yours is the newer version.
- Because I have the legacy 4100, I'm not familiar enough with the P2.
- If there is a reset option somewhere in Settings tab, try that.
- If no luck, try reaching out to Verizon support on "X" to have them troubleshoot further.

@dexman - Any suggestions on how to address my issues (other than calling VZ support)?
