Fios TV app CNN issue

Fios TV app for iPhone/iPad has an issue with CNN going to commercial since 5/24/23. It cuts out from CNN’s broadcast 15++ seconds early and brings on the black Verizon “Be Back Shortly” screen for 15++ seconds, then there is a green screen for a moment and finally the commercials start. I spot checked three other channels and it does not occur on ABC, NBC and MSNBC.
I have tried to report via the Fios TV app and Twitter DM. Six days later it is still a problem.
Fios TV in app support said to reboot my router. I rebooted all my Fios equipment and my devices. I also signed out and signed back in. IT IS NOT A PROBLEM WITH MY STUFF.
I watch CNN on my iPad and iPhone around the house doing chores, gardening, working in the garage etc. I pay a lot for Fios. Is it too much to expect it to work?

It's a direct contact with support. I know the app is being worked on, maybe an upgrade will fix the issue.
