Fios Tv App on iPad 2 iOS 16.7 On Demand play gets cutoff and next episode starts prematurely.
This happens across many programs. Two specific examples would be Tacoma FD Season 4, Episode 7 or Episode 8.

IIRC, you have to hit exit at the end of the show to stop the next one from cutting off the previous one. It has been discussed here a few times.
This is happening on the FIOS Tv streaming app. The "Exit" work-around works for the STB but I don't know of an Exit button on the app. Is there an equivalent work-around for the app?

OK, I'll run it past a support contact.
Why can't one just turn off the auto skip option? It seems silly that anyone would chose to end one episode early and go to the next one. And the Exit button only stays up for 5 seconds. If you miss it, you're out of luck.
This really is a dumb feature that no one actually wants.
