I am a new Fios customer (from Comcast) and find the Guide very difficult to read, too small. Also, the On Demand feature is VERY cumbersome to get to a previously aired show or to view any features offered. It is suggested that the customer should be able to adjust the font size to read the menus and streamline the On Demand features to more quickly get to where we want to get to.
Thank you.

To this, I will add that the Symbol and Number that appears on the info bar when you first turn to a channel both have to be bigger the symbol could be about 30% bigger. The number has to be about 110 per cent bigger. I have perfect 20/20 vision, and can barely see the number from my chair. This is my gramma's TV... With her vision, she doesn't stand a chance of being able to read the Guide, or to see confirmation of what channel she is on once she switches to it..

I recently received a 7100 HD channel box to replace a defective 6200 HD channel box. First thing I noticed was how small the font is on the channel guide now. I have a wide screen 34" TV and have difficulty seeing the tiny font from more than 15 feet away, with good vision.

It is July 2014 and this continues to be a problem. My vision is not good and I've been told that there still is NO option for larger text size on the FIOS guide/TV listings. This lack of interest will cost Verizon a customer. I miss my Comcast.
It don't find it to ba a problem at all, both on my 65" tv and my 24". And Comcast, we have that in out vacation home (FiOS is not available) and I think their guide is the absolute pits.

I dont understand why people are having issues with the font. Its perfectly fine on my 60 inch. Can some of you post screen shots of the so called small font?

I don't understand either. I have a 32" HDTV in the bedroom, 15-20 feet from the headboard, I am very nearsighted (need glasses to see at a distance, drive, etc.), and I can read the Guide without my glasses, not really very well but I can read it, and no problem with my glasses, have been able to for years, through several iterations of the Guide.
One thing people can try: switch the Graphics setting (Guide and Menu) to the SD format on their HDTV; the font is a little larger, but you see fewer channels (5 vs. 7) and hours (1 1/2 vs. 2 1/2) displayed. Just a thought....

While I am not privy to the inner details of the IMG interface design team, I expect that the GUI designers follow cues from the "10-foot interface" to steer their designs.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/10-foot_user_interface
I can say from personal experience that the IMG on my 60" in the living room is perfectly clear to read and navigate from at 10' and is still relatively easy to use @ 12-16'. However the IMG on my 32" @ a distance of about 12' is quite a strain on the eyes and is very hard to read/navigate @ that distance. If I move to within the 10' mark, the IMG on a 32" is usable. Bearing all of that in mind, I think the IMG is overly cluttered and presents too much info at too small of a font size. Also, the last update to IMG was back in 2011 so in 3 years you'd think that sometime between then and now VZ could pull together some of the feedback from users here and get it to the design teams to work on improvements and release an updated IMG.
