Frozen captions

I like to use closed captions while watching live news on CNN , or programs like "Fareed." Lately, the closed captions freeze while the speakers are still talking.  I used to report problems like this to Verizon via [email address removed per the Verizon Terms of Service], but now I get an undeliverable notice. Is there a new way to notify Verizon when the captions are not working properly?  I have called Verizon's help number at 1-800-837-4966, but it is a frustrating experience with long waits to get a live person. Does anyone have any suggestions for reporting captioning issues to Verizon while the program is being aired? Thanks so much.
