What seemed to be an intermittent connection issue has turned into a no signal issue for my Samsung TV. When I moved the STB around initially the picture came back with no sound, so I changed out the HDMI cable but to no avail,
I had initial handshake issue's with the HDMI 1080i (left it on 720p), then the 12/1 update solved that issue but in turn took out my first HD DVR. The 2nd DVR had a few issues with startup on occation (dui message)
Now I am wondering is this an issue with the STB, bad coax, or with my TV. I did not have time to check out one of the other HD STB's yet but if anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. I love the service but if this is another hd stb issue I will have to consider going back to cablevision.

Resolved!!!!!!! I resolved the issue myself. Unfortunatley the handshake issue that we thought that was resolved for HDMI connections of Samsung & Motorola is back.
I hope this issue gets resolved soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
