I don't want the Fios TV streaming "bundle" that Verizon helpfully stuffed me with without me asking. I have tried to change my services using both the glitchy verizon web site (on several different browsers) and the My Verizon IOs app and BOTH GIVE ME THE OPTION OF CHOOSING, "I don't want to use a streaming service" but when you do, NOTHING HAPPENS.
So they force everyone to accept this "free streaming bundle" for 2 months and then start charging $20 buck a month. Many people will forget to cancel and Verizon will get paid by accident.
Am I missing something? Is there a magic word I need to say? Do I have to spend the rest of the day attempting to get a human being on the phone to make the change?
Or is the only way to cancel this fraudulent "offer" to remember to go in and cancel it AFTER the 2 months are up? Will they ALLOW me to change it then?
I miss Xfinity...
