I've got a Motorola QIP2500-3 FiOS set top box.
Anybody come across a working remote code for a Harmon Kardon DVD22 DVD Player?
The only code in the manual is 0582 and that's a no go.
Any help would be much appreciated.

If none of the codes work there is a way to try EVERY SINGLE DVD CODE STORED IN THE REMOTE! This is worth a try the Harmon Kardon DVD Player may use the obscure code of a RCA DVD player, who knows? To try that, use the following procedure.
1. Turn on your Harmon Kardon DVD Player the old fashioned way.
2. Press and hold the DVD key on the Verizon Remote.
3. On the Verizon Remote while holding down the DVD key, press OK.
4. Release both keys at exactly the same time. The Device Keys will blink twice.
5. Press 9 - 2 - 2.
6. Point the remote at the Harmon Kardon DVD Player.
7. Press >/II (play/pause) button
8. Press >> (ffwd button) Every time you press >> (ffwd button) the remote sends out a new power-off command to the DVD Player. Keep pressing >> (ffwd button) until the DVD Player turns off. (You can press the << button to go back.)
9. When the DVD Player turns off, you have found the right code. Press OK to store this code.
Note: There may be over 100 codes. Get your finger ready. The most common codes are tried first, but you may still need to press the >> (ffwd button) over 100 times to find the right code! If you reach the end of the list of codes the entire remote will flash twice and return to normal operation. You can exit programming at any time by pressing the Exit.

When I look at the instruction manuals on the Verizon website for Harmon Kardon DVD players I see:
Phillips RC1445302 remote: two codes, 0729 and 3406.
Phillips RC1445301: 0729.
Motorola DRC0800: 0582.
Scientific-Atlanta AT8550: None
I suggest you try the 0729 and 3406 codes, they might work, depending on the remote you have.
Here is a link to the web page where the information for each remote is listed:

Good luck.
