How do I change VOD skip forward and back

I only noticed this when I was watching Penny Dreadful On Demand.  It was a one minute skip I think, or five.  Today I watched 22 Jump Street and it was a 10 minute skip either direction.  is there any way to customize this like you can for DVR?
