I recently switched from FIOS Triple Play to Internet with local channels only. How do I view those channels? Do I need to reset my remote to search for those channels?

This is kind of unclear. Local chanel 510 is my outlet for local NBC. It doesn't change regardless of what level of service I have. Are you looking for all of the sub-channels which can be picked up OTA for the local channels? Local channels and OTA are two different things.
What do you see now when you click on whatever the FiOS channel is for your local NBC channel, por any of those included in your Local Service Agreement?

How is TV connected?
Is coax direct to TV?
Does TV have a QAM tuner?
If the answer to both is yes, then do a channel search to find local channels.
