Is My Tivo Just a Brick Now?

Hello,

I just moved with my Tivo Edge in tow to a house that already has Fios Internet. I added Fios TV+ to the account and to my shock, I was told that Verizon is no longer offering Cable Cards which essentially means I can't use my Tivo . This is a major disappointment since I find Tivo to be a better system than even this latest version of the Android-driven Fios.

Is my Tivo now just a brick? Do I have any recourse here maybe by changing equipment?

I currently have coax going from the ONT into a splitter to the Video Media Server and the Router. The ONT is connected by fiber from the street.

I've searched through the discussions and from the few relevant posts I've found it does not look promising. Just hoping for a white knight here. I'm happy to keep the Fios TV+ but if I could also use my Tivo, I would be thrilled.

I still have the Cable Card from my old Spectrum service but doubt that will help.

Any suggestions, ideas, help is appreciated.  I can't be the only one in this boat. Thanks in advance for your time.

Verizon basically ended service on cable cards over a year ago as far as I know. Your Tivo is indeed a brick on Fios as I am aware.
