I'm finding it difficult to use my Fios TV service because of the loud sound level on the inserted commercials. Cable channels provide time slots for Verizon to insert their own commercials in the programming. The sound level on these commercials are so much louder than the rest of the programming.
I'm constantly having to reduce the volume when the Verizon commercials come on. It's gotten so bad I'm not willing to watch Verizon TV service until it's fixed.
Come on Verizon, your incompetence can't be that bad.

Continuous issue with FCC that allows commercials to find ways around loudness laws. You can try this and see if it helps you:
Main Menu > Settings > Audio & Video > Audio>Dynamic Range>Heavy

The odd thing is that when you rewind to the commercial or during the commercial, it gets replaced by a commercial for Verizon at normal volume. VERY shady. It feels like they are skirting some sort of monitoring by doing this because the other, normal commercials are unaffected.

Honestly I don't think this is limited to Fios but all media carriers. Commercials on other streamers and even opening sequences in shows and movies often have a louder volumes in my experience. I often have to lower the volume at the beginning of some shows because the music only to increase it again when the people start speaking.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
