So after years, I finally convinced my mother to replace their cable double play with VZ triple play.
Just installed yesterday.
Was happy until issues started arising today. A black screen error - I think the same one someone else posted.
Then once that was resolved, we separately are getting google login prompts. Changing the input on the TV 'back' to the media player input resolves... Until a half hour or later.
Excuse me?
I need to setup a Google account just to watch TV?
Please tell me there is a misconfiguration somewhere. It's insane to me if just watching cable now requires my mother to have an email address.
