Whenever I try to watch Monumental Sports Network (formerly NBC Sports Washington), the feed freezes quite frequently. As a big Caps fan, this is a problem when I am trying to watch games. I have reset my STB, the router and anything else I can think of. Other channels work just fine. Any suggestions or tips?

When it locks up, look here at SNR numbers to see if it still says good, or changes to bad. If it says good, you may have a problem with the Fios box. If it says bad it is a signal issue.

Thank you! I will give that a try next time to see where we are with that. I appreciate the suggestion!

I just checked the SNR numbers when the picture was freezing on another channel and it says good, so I guess it sounds like the problem is with the Fios box? I guess that's a call to Verizon, right?

Short term error counts shows 0. I don't see anything else that shows an error.

I'm wondering if the problem is with the feed from the television station.
Here in the town I live in, one of the three PEG TV stations loses audio &/or video every so-many days.
It has gotten to the point where I check the channel once a day. If it is impacted, I'll call the studio and have someone reset the equipment which restores the channel...for a while anyways.

Wow - I hope that's not the case. We switched from DIRECTV in the spring and it worked fine from that provider, which is why we find it odd now.

This issue occurs on both SD and HD channels 76 and 576 when I am trying to watch the Capitals games. This issue makes watching very painful. It is not a problem on any other networks.

Outside chance a splitter is going bad and blocks those particular frequencies. I'd check them and replace them with at least MoCa 2.0 rated splitters. Only time I had something like that happen, one of the tuners went bad in the Fios Box and messed up 2 channels, but left everything else fine.

The same has happened to me since FIOS notified us they were dropping this channel back in November which they haven't yet. Only the HD 576 channel is affected on mine. No other HD channel has this problem and my splitter was installed by Verizon. Is that a splitter problem or a FIOS feed problem? Likely the latter IMO.
