Verizon please add more HD channels soon. The field is getting crowed out there. I am thinking of switiching to Direct TV to get the HD channels you are missing. I thought that was one of the things that set you apart from the others. Once you start watching HD on a large set you never watch SD again.

Verizon currently carries more HD channels than anyone out there, including DirectTV. Don't believe me, check this out:

Switching only gets you fewer channels.

We're up to 130 HD's now (at least here in DE).
What channels does DTV carry that FIOS doesn't? Just curious..not trying to start a debate. LOL.

2. NASA Tv
3. BBC America HD
4. E! HD
5. BET HD
6. IFC HD
7. G4 HD
8. Style HD
9. MSNBC
10. Turner Classic Movies
11. Cartoon Netowrk
These for sure are already on FiOS:

So based on your list, you're going to go back only for Cartoon Network and BET HD?
Those are the only ones that DTV carries that FIOS does not yet.
The majority of the others (minus MSNBC, NASA and BBC) should come around in Q1 2010.
you can actually get the others on Cablevision.
I can agree that Cartoon Network HD should be added as soon as possible.
Over this recent weekend, they switched at least 5 shows over to full HD. It doesn't look that great watching shows in an even smaller viewing area with black bars around them.
Outwar, you can always zoom in the picture with your TV or cable box.
