I have 3 problems:
Multi Room DVR
- I watch a recorded program on one of my remote STB’s. I log onto FiOS TV Central once the program I was watching ends. I try to delete the show I was just watching via the web site and I get the following: Attention! The selected program cannot be deleted since it is currently being played.” Not true. It was playing but no longer. Since I cannot delete the program via the remote STB this error doesn’t help.
- When watching a recorded program on my remote STB it will sometimes start Fast Forwarding all by itself. It happens after a locally inserted commercial.
- When I Fast Forward a recorded program and then hit Play the program may jump back near the beginning.

1. You can do that? How do you watch the show via the website? Or do you mean you watch it on your STB then just delete it from the website? I have never deleted a show from the website, but I have had the issue where after a playback error, I try to play it again and get the same error you have listed. "The selected program cannot be PLAYED since it is currently being played.”
2. Never happened to me
3. Yeah this has happened a few times to me.

1. I watch the recorded program on the remote STB. Once I have finished watching I then try to delete it via the web site. Throws the error on the web site.
2. Seems to happen after a locally inserted commercial or a FiOS promo commercial like a UFC Pay Per View commercial.
3. I was told to try hitting pause first.

I definitely have problem #2. I haven't looked for a pattern, so I don't know if it only occurs after a locally inserted commercial. Most of my data comes from other family members reporting the issue with programs that they record and watch, but today I witnessed it firsthand.

Hey guys, I figured i would post an addendum to my post here. The remote dvr bug which will not allow you to delete a recording right after watching it from your tv will not happen to everyone because it does not happen for every single recorded program. The auto fastforward happening during a recording viewing will not happen to everyone as verizon does not locally insert commercials in every area that we operate in. The mrdvr bug where you fastforward through a recording and it puts you back at the beginnig upon hitting play is a weird one. The hub is sending what we call trick play command which is basically restarting the recording. There really arent an procedures to stop it. You basically have a 50/50 chance of it happening or not.

Sorry, I a Newbie to the board (do ya hear the "pop"):smileywink:
Posted on another board, though it probably should be here.
Being in Ventura County, CA, my systems setting says VHO 3303. Is this part of Pomona, CA VHO 3 ?
Boy I tell you, waiting till March (3rd) is a long time for revision 1.61. Is this fix exclusively pushed on an regional enterprise scale, or do you think I can get a tactical download to my Multiroom HD DVR if I call and itch about it ?
Being a Engineer, I sure would like to see the s/w release notes summarizing the list of fixes in this new code rev 1.61, as it relates to the Multiroom HD DVR.
Besides the message "unable to locate Hub" error, I get another, apparently unrelated, nagging freeze issue which forces me to restart at the beginning. Appears to happen when I select FastForward / Skipping on a playback of a recording within my HD STB. I am trying to correlate events, but I "think" it has to do with getting within 15 - 20 minutes of catching up to that show as its doing a "live" recording. Any help would be appreciated.

As for the first problem, could it be that there is a delay before the WEB-based control recognizes that the playing state is expired? Try waiting five minutes...
Just a thought.
