When I choose a Music Channel, it loads fine and starts streaming the current song. However, then the box starts loading the SAME CHANNEL but a different song! I have to press EXIT on the Verizon remote to return to the first song on that channel. For example, if I enter 1847 for the Easy Listening channel, it loads and then plays the current song. But then it starts to load a different song with a different display for the same Easy Listening Music Channel, 1847. If I press EXIT on the remote, it returns to the original screen and remote.

If you have a 4100 STB, I'm wondering if what you're seeing is the STB switching from television channel 1847 to the native music app. ๐ค

Sounds like the option to go to HD channels is enabled in the options. You start playing the music in an SD version of music choice then the box switches to an HD version. Check here and ddisable the feature and see if it helps:
Main Menu > Settings > System > Television > Auto Tune to HD Channel
