Folks!

I need to set parental controls to the recorded content in my HD DVR...pl suggest.

I have only one DVR and this is not Home Media DVR...this is just a HD DVR...

Hi Ting, the best bet to block content on recorded programming is to set the "Control Ratings"  option of Parental Controls.  You'll be able to lock all programming for whichever rating options you choose out of the list. When someone tries to watch any program with those ratings,  recorded or on regular tv, it will prompt for the pin # you create.

Kim, Thanks for the reply. This to an extent solves my issue, but my main issue is to hide the content totally from my kids.

Well, what I'm trying to say is, if I have a PIN or Password for the recorded content, then I should be able to hide the total content including  titles of the recorded shows.

Am I asking for more? probably not- I'm sure those who have kids around will be facing this issue. What say you?
