New to Fios, switched over from comcast, and while the reliability has been better are my home; I was definitely sold a bill of goods that Fios can't deliver. Fios TV Streaming is awful, coming over from Comcast where I could watch my DVR on my computer (through the browser) or on app on android device, I find Fios to be lacking in its abilities. Now with Comcast, for full functionality you had to be in your home on your home network, but Fios doesn't even allow that. You can only watch DVR, or all you subscribed channels via the mobile app... and then only watch many of the subscribed channels in home (which is fine), but not being able to watch any of this in browser on my PC is ridiculous. In browser, in your own home, it is treated like you are not home... you only have access to limited channels to stream, and the worst part you can not watch your DVR recordings on PC. This is ridiculous, Comcast was apparently way better at doing this then Verizon. Also when signing up for Fios, I was told by the rep when I asked about the streaming, that I would have all the same functionality as what I had with Comcast... I even asked about streaming on PC and was told that when I am in my home I would have access to all functionality whether on PC or Android. Really hoping that Fios can catch up with the competition here and let people have complete access to their Subscribed Channels and DVR while in home... on a PC and not limit their costumers to only using a mobile app. Very disappointed new customer here...
