I unplugged my battery backup unit a while back and haven't replaced it yet. I had a power outage last week and that evening could not get a picture on my TV: just snow and static. The two may be unrelated but I am guessing not. Can anyone help me debug? Thanks.
Have you checked status lights on your ONT?
I had a similar occurence.
ONT failed after power outage (and I had battery backup).
Verizon had to come out to replace.
