On demand prematurely cuts off running program

On demand cuts off before the movie or episode ends. I see multiple postings, dating back several years that reference this problem without a fix or solution from Verizon. The one suggestion from another customer is to hit exit when the banner displays… I have not found this to work .  It is unacceptable   for a pop up banner to cover a third of the screen and cut off the movie or episode before it’s over.  Please offer a solution or  fix this system glitch.

Forwarded this to support, we'll see what comes up.

Support needs examples of network / show / episodes. they can fix one show at a time once they track down which are responsible.

We were trying to watch a 3 episode NCIS "crossover" Both NCIS Hawai'i Season 2, episode 10 and NCIS Los Angeles Season 14, episode 10 cut off before the end to start a new Hawaii or Los Angeles. And when trying to go back to the episode we didn't finish, had to watch from the beginning -- or skip. I'm replaying Los Angeles now so we can see the end and it annoys me. When I watch the original NCIS, it plays all the way to the end and then plays commercials before the next episode comes up. Even if you fix it, it will be too late for us, but this is extremely annoying to replay and not be able to forward during the show program (I understand the stupid commercials -- but even HULU allows you to forward through the programs)
