One hour delay

I've seen this before, but no one seems to have a solution that works. On some channels, at some times, the shows are delayed by one hour ... always showing it delayed. I hit the FIOS button (suggested by many), but nothing changes. I can fast forwared, but (a) it takes time and (b) it bounces back to the hour-delayed show.  I change channels several times (also suggested by some) but it's still hour-delayed. This is really, really annoying and I don't seem to have any solution. Makes Fios useless on these channels. Any suggestions (that work)?

This is for regular broadcast shows. (I'm not sure On Demand can be "delayed.") A show that, say, is scheduled for 4-6 in the evening will display what was broadcast at 4:30 when I'm watching it at 5:30. The show itself tells me this, and if I hit the "stop" button (little square) it shows that it's at 4:30, not 5:30.

Yes, I tried both Fix TV Issues and Self Diagnostics. Both tell me everything is working fine.

This is clearly a problem that others have had. None of the offered "solutions" work for me except one -- unplugging the STB and rebooting. (A soft reboot does not work.) This takes a LOT of time, however, and it's pretty inconvenient to have to do every evening to watch some news.

BTW, this happens on my MAIN STB, but not on a satellite box in the kitchen. This tells me it's got to be the box itself. Surely Verizon has a solution for this, or at least understands what's happening.

Have you tried to get the main box replaced? I know there is a way to do a factory reset on the box, this might help:

Are you talking about regular broadcast shows or On-demand content? Have you tried :

Main Menu > Customer Support > Top Support Tools > Fix FiOS TV Issues

Main Menu > Customer Support > Top Support Tools > Self Diagnostics
