The storm last night must have done some damage. I am not getting many programs on FIOS as well as the phone line is down. My cell phone does not have any bars as well. Good thing the FIOS internet is working. Anyone else experiencing these problems?
Our internet is fine but, like you, no television. We have no VID light on the OTU. Been on hold for 20 minutes so far. I've been looking for something on the website with a list of outages but haven't been able to find anything.
Good luck, hopefully we can get service back. I actually work for another group at Verizon and being dispatched out to 5 sites with power issues. ugh
The web tools are horrible. It says we have a "VOD Outage" in our area but it's far more extensive than VOD. They really need to provide a nice simple web page with a list of outages. It would lower their support load and their customer frustration level tremendously.

It is 7:45 in the Woodbridge area and I have the same sympotums as described above. I can find no information anywhere on the internet ... not even the Verizon site. For a company that advertizes its communications attributes, they would have to improve to get to a rating of "poor" right now! How hard is it to post something somewhere? I cannot even find anything on the local TV station's web site. VERY VERY POOR (but typical Verizon) CUSTOMER SERVICE>
8:00 a.m. and my Fios tv is out ! Internet is working so does anyone have an idea whats going on cause Verizon sure doesn't ?
After waiting on hold for 58 minutes I finally got ahold of someone :D. What the rep told me " There is probably an outage in your area but it's not yet reported." I currently have internet just no TV and live in Ashburn.
Same problem for me. in Woodbridge. I have internet, however no phone landline or cell and no TV.
Probably an outage? LOL. Anything but admit they are down.
Based on my previous experiences calling FiOS support, I decided to not even bother, and after the self-service support yielded nothing, thought to check out the forums... Hang in there
Just to add...no FIOS TV and no Verizon Wireless here in Falmouth/Northern Fredericksburg. Power came back early this morning and TV was on here before 6AM this morning, but then went out. Time is not even displaying on my HD STBs as they are stuck in "downloading" mode.
At least there's still Internet service (knocking on wood).
I'm in Woodbridge, and my internet is up, thankfully. But the cable, landline and my cell are all out! It is frustrating because I can't even call to report the issue and the website is not allowing for any issues to be reported online. WHAT A MESS. I wish they would post something so I know what the heck is going on and a rough time frame for it to be resolved!
Do you think Verizon would take a look at all this and get a CLUE about customer service??????????
I second your suggestion. Verizon should have a web page listing known problem, and their phone support should also being with a statement about known problems so you don't have to wait to talk to someone just to find out you did not need to wait!
My FIOS phone service is not working in Centreville, VA. I have a dial tone, but cannot make or receive calls.
It's 8:00 am and I have no Verizon land phone or TV. Also, my AT&T mobile phone is out. No communication except through internet
No cell phone coverage. No FiOS TV. Home phone doesn't work. Only the internet works. As such, there is no way to even contact Verizon to get an idea of when they will fix things.
My FIOS Internet and TV are ok, but the phone is out. No dial tone. I even bought a new phone from WalMart and plugged it directly into the FIOS box, and it still does not work.
Centreville here...HD Box up, standard box up...DVR box still down. Landline still down.

I live in Westridge over by the Springwoods Elementary school. I have no cell service, or do I have any add-on FIOS TV set top boxes. Funny I do have the main FIOS set top working and I do have internet. Something is hosed that allows other boxes to be added. Also, been on hold now for 30 minutes... Hope this helps...
Springfield -- Verizon land line phones out at my house. Can't make calls on Verizon cell. Internet and TV okay. Funny that I can check my voicemail on the cell phone but can't get through to any other number.
