The storm last night must have done some damage. I am not getting many programs on FIOS as well as the phone line is down. My cell phone does not have any bars as well. Good thing the FIOS internet is working. Anyone else experiencing these problems?

Anybody receive an ETA on when service would be restored? We are without TV and phone (Dale City, VA) and since cell service is spotty in my area I can't stay on the line long enough to talk with anyone at Verizon.

One hour and 40 minutes on hold. I give up Verizon. Your support needs support.

Same in Lake Ridge. Cannot get through to Verizon by phone or by internet. Power is out at the kohls and east down Minnieville towards 123. Traffic is crazy.

Well they seem to be consistently terrible with communicating information. I guess they have no "continual improvement" aspect of their customer service.
When they unveiled the Share Everything plans there was no information available anywhere, CSRs and store reps didn't have any answers. I ordered a phone in a corporate store, it was mysteriously cancelled with no message/email/anything. Then it took over 24 hours to get another order placed. All to hand them $280 and a 2 year agreement.
Last year I swapped out one of my ancient DVRs that couldn't handle IMG 9 and then it took 2.5 hours on phone support to get the new box working since the store screwed up, then the first CSR screwed up more, then tech support couldn't fix it. Finally one guy knew his way around the system and stayed on with me for an hour to get it fixed.
Like I said, you want to cancel after garbage like this but where are you going to go? Comcast? Not exactly known for thier service either.

Centreville VA: No phone, no TV, no way to communicate with Verizon. FRUSTRATING. Missing Wimbledon. Awaiting a call from the doctor's office with test results. Thank-you to the other customers who shared their intel. You guys are much more helpful than the understaffed Verizon.

I tried trouble shooting based on the FOIS setup box instructions and lost FOIS on demand as well ๐
Just have the internet!

Got through on their chat line. He offered to text me when service was restored. Oops! cell service is down too! He says there is no ETA for restoration of services as of 10:17 AM, but we can call 888-553-1555 and say "Billing" when service is restored and get credit for the time down. <sarcastically> gee thanks.......

Centreville here, same as everyone else. Internet working, cell phones working but no land lines or TV. TV just has red screens with "Verizon FIOS TV" Starting up....One Moment Please on the screen.
No texts or messages from Verizon as to the outage or ETA on repair, etc. Also to make matters worse the a/c has been down since 4pm yesterday. Lots of fun. At least the technician is on his way and could call on the cell phone.
What's odd is that the internet is working but everything else is not. And everything was working fine last night after the storms went through.

Tried tv troubleshooting by rebooting HD DVR and regular set top boxes, neither has resonded. When dialing my home land line from my cell mesg recieved is circuits are busy at this time. Hopefully VZ will have this fixed sometime today

After reading all of the locations, seeing that PW 911 is down...this is a huge outage and still no news online about the issue. One of the advantages of FIOS internet, TV and Phone is one may go down, but not all. If this follows the progression...TV...then phone, the internet is next??
Time to make some popcorn and pop in some DVD's...or read a book.
I'll check back here hoping someone will report when things are coming back up. I wonder how many of us have reset our boxes and the issues that will cause us. sigh
VERIZON - people understand outages...what we need to hear is you are aware and are working to restore everything. Keep your customers informed...even if it isn't great news.
To all of you posting updates here...THANK YOU!!!

There's certainly an issue with VZ and time, my previous post was 10:55 EDT, the board reported 07:55; maybe the board is hosted in PDT

In Woodbridge we have no TV, house or cell phone but have internet.....how quickly we go back 60 years. Perhaps Verizon could rethink how we can still incorporate a landline with Fios.
I'm also very frustrated how we can post our updates but Verizon cannot post where the outages are and the estimated time to repair, or the extent of the damage.

It's 11:20am in Triangle VA. Spoke with tech support a couple of hours ago. They said that northern VA is experiencing a Video outage.
TV & Cell Phone are the only 2 services that I am missing. Phone and Internet have been up since power was restored at about 5:30 this morning.

GRRRR...Too late! Centreville here. I already followed the instructions to reset on the DVR. Now we have the dreaded --.--.-- and went to other boxes to check...followed reset instructions. Now all my set top boxes match.
We were up early...around 4 am. We were flipping channels and all was ok until 6:15 am. Chanel 4 froze. We were able to call and get put on terminal hold with Verizon. Now we have a dial tone but can't call out. We do have cells and called home and got quick busy signal.
Finally found this site and am greatful to all who are posting info. Wish I would have gotten here before we reset ๐ oh well...hope the weather is better than yesterday.

I'm in Woodbridge/Lake Ridge and have the same thing. Spent 30 minutes looking online and finally found your note here. Can't call...no phones. Tried to chat online with service but chats are down too.
