Decades is gone from FIOS, at least in the Philadelphia area. The channel was provided as an over the air sub-channel or the CBS station. Now, it's a sub-channel of ME-TV's affiliate but Verizon doesn't carry it. They do carry ME and other sub-channels, just not Decades. Bring it back.

Local stations have 2 options:
1) They can invoke must carry. This allows them to specify the channel number and it must be carried. But they don't get paid for their content
2) Negotiate for carriage. This is what most if the larger stations do. They negotiate with cable providers as to what channel number, how much they will be paid (this is where local broadcast fees go) and what content will be carried.

You can also reach out to the station that carries it and ask that they work with Verizon to carry.
it would probably need to be part of a contract negotiation

I wrote out to the engineer at WFMZ that handles WDPN. Apparently, Fios does not want to carry Decades, while WFMZ has tried to get it carried.
But, it's not limited to Decades, as Fios doesn't offer LIGHTtv from WTXF, and Grit from WDPN.
FIOS has to offer the primary channel from WDPN which is MeTV, but it doesn't have to offer all the sub channels.
Comcast has Decades but apparently it doesn't have getTV.
I like them all - at least the ones with classic tv.
I tried watching Justice Network and it was murder focused shows. Awful programming yet Fios has this subchannel. The content was just about as negative as scenes of people getting stabbed.

I wanted to add that I got a rooftop antenna installed and get all of the subchannels. It works out well with the Amazon Recast DVR. I highly recommend this option.

Decades has very good programming, including the Honeymooners Lost Episodes, as well as many other nostalgic shows. Please bring Decades back to Verizon Fios.

Is there a local OTA station that carries it?
If not, then Verizon can't carry it as it is not a cable station.

This is mainly a peer to peer support forum.
Verizon does not respond to posts here.
As I stated earlier, have you tried reaching out to the local station that carries Decades in your area?
Try posting on their social media page.
If there is no local station in your area that carries Decades, then unfortunately, you are out of luck as Decades is not a cable channel.

Please add DECADES TV (Washington, DC / WRZB Over the air 31.5) to Washington area channel lineups. They show some terrific old TV shows.
I subscribe in Montgomery County, MD.
Thank you

Try reaching out to the local station that carries. They may be under must carry rule and would need to request it from Verizon

Go here to see if there is a station in your area that carries it.
https://www.decades.com/wheretowatch/
If no local channels, then FiOS won't carry.
It is possible that the local channel in your area that did carry it has dropped it.
