Parental controls not working in on demand

Erotic titles are showing in the on demand titles list, and I want to block them.

I turned on parental controls for 17. But when I go to on demand, TV-MA titles still show. Are parental controls working for on demand titles? Or what am I doing wrong?

If you have quantum, there is an additional option required to hide them.

Go to menu-settings-system-parental/purchase.

There is an option to hide Adult titles. Just enable that.

Thanks, but hide adult content is already checked. Adult TVMA still shows up and its first on the free category. Im disgusted by this. Please help.

Just to clarify, go to on demand, movies, free and the first thing you see is "erotika", "straight As to xxx", and a ton of other porn films, next to Alvin and the chipmunks, and Ice Age.  Is this really what Verizon wants gamilies to see as the most popular movies? This is horrific.

My system is showing the same titles with all the parental controls activated as specified.  We need to go back to having a specific family free movies section.  My children are getting just old enough to try to find a movie on demand themselves and we can't have this stuff right there.

Good news, I spent 30 minutes on support chat and got no where.  Do not even attempt the support chat. Not helpful.  But I talked to support on the phone and they immediately saw the problem, even said it was appalling - to see this right next to children's movies.  After 45 minutes they had already talked to the content providers and are trying to figure out how to fix it.  They hope to have something done in 2 days.  I have a support ticket linked to the xxx content in the free movies area, and a promise that this will be resolved! Wa*ne was the best support tech ever.    

On another note, how did this ever get past the quality assurance department? Big problem, if you ask me.

Verizon promised me text message updates, and a call back in 24 hours. None of that happened. They promised me a case number, again, never happened. This problem still exists

Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you. Please go to your profile page for the forum and scroll down the page to an area titled "My Support Cases." You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name located above your post, or at the top right of this page.

Under "My Support Cases" you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. The title of your post is the link. This should be checked on a frequent basis, as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions. To ensure you know when they have responded to you, you may subscribe to the case. At the top right of your support case there is a gear icon which provides a drop down menu with support case options. Click that and choose "subscribe." Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.
