So, this morning, the new menu went live, and the color scheme is terrible. Some of the new features are nice, like getting more information on the cast of a movie would be nice (if it wasn't freezing up). But why does Verizon feel the need to completely change everything? Can't you add features, and just leave everything else the same?
Dark gray with dark red, blue and what I can best describe as sea green. Ugly ugly ugly.

I think somebody from Cablevision infiltrated the Verizon Design Team! This new setup is terrible. There was no reason to change it, unless they wanted to chase away customers. Hard to read, more cumbersome to navigate; come on Fios, wake up!

How bad am I going to get screwed for canceling my contract. This new set up is awful! To hard to read and the fact that I can't change the color to something easier to read is a slap in the face. Why would anyone pay for this kind of treatment?
The red bar up top reminds me of vampires and Comcast. Comcast sounds like a great idea right now. At least it doesn't hurt to look at it.

No, it's not just you. But the thing is, Verizon doesn't really care.

I have very poor eyesight due to retinitis.
This new guide is very difficult to read with the dark colors and small text.
Is there any option in the features to change the colors and text sizes?

Wife pretty much laid down the law.
Give us back our old guide or lose our business.

I think the colors suck! Too hard for older people to read.

Yes it sucks being old. Verizon changes the guide about as often as I change my contract, so when do they just do it everyone is forced to live with it. Only option I know is to cancel your serverce and tell verizon exactly why, otherwise Verizon ignores single complaints. Seems many pages of compaints by many users does get's Verizon's attention.... ie the SEC network then SEC Network in HD.

Please put back the old colors, or give the users the ability to back this one off! The guide colors are VERY dark and are hard on the eyes.

Dear Verizon. If I had someone working for me that created a mess like the new GUI backgrounds I would terminate them. It really stinks! Do us all a favor and get rid of it.

I was hoping to be excited by the "upgraded" guide to get used to the new look and feel. Instead I can barely read the text, the black and the white is very harsh on the eyes and it appears blurry on my typically very crisp TV. Not sure who thought it was a great color scheme ... any chance you can make color pallete choices? My preference was the blue because it's crisper, easier to read and doesn't cause eye strain. Pretty sure I won't be renewing in July if this remains.

I am requesting that the new color scheme for FIOS TV, the red and black, be changed. We have 3 people in our house that are red/green color blind and the new guide/interface is very challenging for them to use. In the future, when selecting a color scheme for such things it would be good to use a filter to see what color choices are actually visible for folks with color challenges. Considering 12% or more of the population has issues with color, it would be good business to take this into consideration.
Thanks for listening.

I can't read the new guide with the black background. What action can we take as customers so Verizon will go back to the previous colors? I called them and they told me how to change it but don't they set them? I couldn't change them.

One more voice wishing to revert to the previous style and operaion of all the menus. It's not kjust that I don;t like change (I don't) but I have tried getting used to the new menus and color over the past segveral days. I just keep finding more thsat I dislike about it.
For example, scrolling down a short list of episodes inthe DVR recordings. Why does it scroll the firs entry off the top as soon as I scroll own by one when there is plenty of room to show all of the entries ????

I can change fonts and font sizes on this message but I can't adjust my screen so that I can see it from across the room? Why change from black on light to light on black? No one's told you that it's way harder to read?

I dont know who thought it was a good idea to change the Verizon Screen to 1997, but they should be fired. The color scheme is awful, its hard to read, and constantly freezes up. Why does it look like the Verizon guide went back in time? I agree that some of the new features are nice (additional movie information). However, the terrible tv guide color scheme and subsequent issues substanitally outweighs the minor benefits. VERIZON CHANGE IT BACK! This is terrible.
