Problem with playing back recordings

i got the new Quantum TV and all was fine till this week - when I play back a recorded show and hit the next button to skip commercials it goes back to the beginnning of the show.  The only way I can get back to where I was watching is to use the fast forward button and if I hit the next button it send me back to the beginning again.   It is very frustrating - I am ready to dump FIOS between this issue and my slow remote it is nothing but frustrating.

Any idea why this is happening????

I am having the same problem! Also, can't set up a new recording by using the search mode for the show. Hitting play button no longer brings up the program information and how far you are into the show. Spent 45 minutes on the phone troubleshooting only to be told it was a known issue with recording, showing the program information, upcoming shows,etc. and to just live with it and check back in a month......

This is a known bug that many people are seeing since the new update rolled out.
