Rebooted living room set top box, now having issues?!

We rebooted our set top box in the living room, earlier this afternoon. Now, on at least, a couple of channels, the picture and sound keeping popping on and off. Really? This is what I get for staying with Verizon? Not a happy customer here...and don't give me an it is due to my account!! I'm not the only one dealing with this.

Reboot again.  Double check connections are all tight. 

In general reboots cure problems and very very rarely cause them.
