I called Verizon and 5 times got disconnected due to heavy call volume. At least that is what I assume.
I activated the redzone and now it is saying my order cannot be completed. I have had it for 2 years and never had this issue. The one time I did get through to VZ the recording said my order could not be completed because the appointment was not scheduled! THERE IS NO APPOINTMENT! I am activating the same RedZone that is part of my package.
Any help?

As of 2:00pm EST here in Tampa, I was able to reach through to tech support and they mentioned there are issues with RedZone which requires authorized customers to be re-authorized on your cable box by a SUPPORT person. They told me to turn off my box after 20 minutes and then plug it back in.
As of 3:00pm I'm still waiting for RedZone to be activated with no luck.

Verizon, wake up and address people who are already redzone subscribers. Your facebook message just **bleep** everyone off and shows you may not even understand the scope of your problem. BTW, I have a TIVO box wiht a verizobn cablecard. I wonder if this is only affecting TIVO box owners.

Humor is probably not the best choice to deal with customers that already have said service.

This year they are doing it differently. Those with Ultimate have to activate it. I wonder if this lets them count only those who activate as subscribers and so pay the NFL less.

Are you ready for some football? The start of the NFL season is just around the corner and as a FiOS TV Ultimate subscriber we’re excited to continue giving you access to the NFL RedZone on channels (335 SD or 835 HD) at no additional charge.
To view the NFL RedZone channel this season you simply need to tune to channels (335 SD or 835 HD) on your STB on or after August 23, 2012, and activate the service by selecting the “OK” button and following the prompts. That’s it! No other action will be required from you.
See you September 9, 2012, for the first game of the season!

Same problem here, no chat, phone disconnects because there is no answer, and the set top box just says we can process that request right now. What a joke!

I am having the same issue. I have the ultimate package, but cannot view the Redzone channel. It prompts me to call 1-888-553-1555, but I cannot reach anyone at that number.

Been on hold with Fios since 1:00. They WILL talk to me, and they WILL credit me SIGNIFICANTLY! This is toal **bleep** and is unacceptable.

Same here, whos idea was this to click OK to subscribe to a channel all of us already had?
The IT guys are all off on the weekends so the customer service people have no idea what is going on. Sounds like there is about 5 of them working today for the entire nation.

I tryed it all.. pressing ok and it keeps telling me to call. so i call and i get disconneted when I reach the prompt for customer service. I try to see it I can do it on line, but I cannot find how to do it. Not good
