RedZone is not working!

I called Verizon and 5 times got disconnected due to heavy call volume.  At least that is what I assume.

I activated the redzone and now it is saying my order cannot be completed.  I have had it for 2 years and never had this issue.  The one time I did get through to VZ the recording said my order could not be completed because the appointment was not scheduled!  THERE IS NO APPOINTMENT!  I am activating the same RedZone that is part of my package.

Any help?

I cannot get the redzone on my tv - i had it last year do i need to reactivate something and if so how?

If the channel doesn't start working today then we are all screwed until next sunday.  The reason I say that is the tech support is off on Sunday's.

I just got off the phone with a Verizon rep and he confirmed that Ultimate gets the Redzone for free. Unfortunately, there is a Redzone outage that's why we can't watch the channel.

Again Verizon has significantly let its customers down - seriously.  First day of the season, and there is no way to get the redzone i have been paying for all year in my ultimate plan because there customer service is off on Sundays...seriously?  This is absurd, and really making me want to switch to the cheaper services out there

I do not believe the "redzone outage" as the twitter feeds are shoing a number of people being able to watch it - must just be verizon wool being pushed over your eyes

Well an outage doesn't necessarily mean everyone has an "outage".

I was told that the outage is not the channel itself but the backend server that handles the activations cannot handle the volume of requests.  I was told they anticipate having the issue resolved by the end of tomorrow........Looks like we are SOL.  Everyone should contact customer service and request a service credit due to the outage

Mine just came on without speaking to anyone directly.   Hopefully that's the case for everyone.

I have the Ultimate Package, I have "subscribed" on Channel 835 when the notice came out.  Today, I cannot get the RedZone, and every time I contact customer service I get "no one answers the phone, we're hanging up."

That's lousy customer service, but why cannot I get RedZone??

Same here as well. I have the Ultimate Package, but the RedZone channel is telling me I need to subscribe. I have tried calling 5 times, only to have the message tell me to please hold, then hang up on me a minute later. The Chat contact did the same thing.

I'm sure a lot of people are calling about this issue, but a system that just hangs up with no warning is just poor customer service.

Living in Tampa FL, already had the Buc's game blacked out - stuck watching the Texans game with a room full of very frustrated people. What the hell man, why am I paying extra for this crap service? I can't even get through to anyone.

Same thing here!  I have the Ultimate Package and no NFL Redzone.  Disconnected repeatedly from their number and live chat.  

I'm paying $200 a month for a service which I don't have.

I have been held on hold for hrs today, tried to reach technical support and unable to connect.  I have called three other times during the week and given double talk about the red zone channel.   I have never been  treated  like this by any other service, where's your professionalism?  I  expect to be compensated for my time,  lack of service and general lack of respect!!!!!!
