Verizon needs to reestablish the ability to remotely program DVR from a PC. I was told by tech support that people did not know how to use it and that is why is was eliminated. I have a hard time believing that is true. Why has Verizon moved backwards with technology?

NOT TRUE!
What are you talking about? Verizon has not eliminated programming the DVR from a PC. To verify that I just did it, and then checked directly on the DVR that it was properly scheduled, it was.
Why were you asking tech support about it to begin with? Are you having trouble scheduling via the PC? If so, go to the normal FiOS TV forum here and post your issue, hopefully someone will be able to help you get it working again.

well i don't know if Verizon eliminated programming the DVR from a PC, but i know that every time i try to enter myDvr on my pc like i used to do it before i can't. then something is wrong. They should fix this because when i don't find myself home i use my laptop to setup my dvr but right now i can't do it

I agree, something is wrong.
I can assure you Verizon has not eliminated programming the DVR from the PC. While I don't do it regularly, I do check from time to time and it pretty much always works (there are occasional times when it doesn't, I don't know if it is network or server maintenance or what, but if I wait a few hours it seems to always work the next time). I again just went in and scheduled a program just to be sure it is still working, worked just fine.
I think you need to contact tech support and get them to take a look, I think it is something unique to your account or configuration.

I agree. But how many licks loes it take to get to the center. I have had three chats, two phone calls, and few PMs to and from Social Media Escalations.Over a week and still broke!

You are right. I called back support and got a different guy. They fixed the issue. I told him what the last guy said-he laughed. BTW-it was not an issue I could have fixed.
