I know that down south SEC Network is offered; however, considering you offer the Big 10 network and the Longhorn network nationwide I don't see how a network for such a huge fanbase isn't offered. Especially for the Ultimate Package. Can we please get more sports channels, especially in HD?

The overflow channel for the football games this week on the SEC Network will be channel 332 per this article. They are carrying two games at the same time at noon,4 pm and 7:30 pm.

KAM2523 you are wrong. UK Basketball plays summer ball on day one August 14th. That's a huge fanbase to tick off.
I'm signing up elsewhere, Verizon doesn't give a crap about it's customers
@KAM2523 wrote:U guys the true deadline for the deal is august 28 when the college football season starts nothing is going on the network from 14-27 its just repalys of games.

Exactly right. The first live event the SEC Network is showing is a UK basketball game in the Bahama's this Friday. I would like to see that game and the other two the SEC Network is showing. I don't know how much of a presence Fios has in Kentucky but if its much at all people will be jumping ship really fast. Basketball is a religion in the state and the people do not want to miss their UK basketball games.

We switched to Verizon a couple of years ago because of their programming, but if they don't add the SEC Network before the 28th, we will be changing carriers.

This is just sad.
I know no one from Verizon reads these forums, but they have to get the message. This is serious.

I wish they would at least say yes we are going to offer it or no we aren't. To not let their customers know is horrible service. Are they even negotating anymore???

Totally agree. Verizon, step up and offer the SEC Network.

Everyone please keep calling/chatting/tweeting/emailing Verizon Fios. I am contacting them daily asking and keep getting the standard "cant comment" answer. If we put enough pressure on them maybe they will listen.

Add me to the chorus...I'll have to pay a $200 early termination fee...but I will do it and hold a grudge against Verizon for a long, long time...

Outside forces prevented me from keeping my original deadline, but alas I have Direct TV scheduled for an install next week. Hello SEC Network and NFL Sunday ticket from a company that understands the programming that people want and the need for them to know they will have it in a timely fashion. Verizon could learn a thing or two from this, but they will not if customers merely threaten to leave but don't follow through. Money is the only language they speak.

I have to say, I don't quite get this theory. How much room does the SEC network need? Is it so big that you can't have any channels around it?

Verizon has been moving some channels around over the past few days, which is hopefully a good sign. Maybe they are making room for the SEC Network. I hope an announcement would come early next week.

Moving channels here and there to create the right spot for SEC Network....they will want it near all the sports channels. I think they recently moved Outdoor Life Network which is near the ESPN channels.

Not so much for the "physical" space, but they do like to keep channels together. Therefore, it makes more sense to put SEC Network in the 90/590 range, closer to ESPN, than it would to just randomly assign it to wherever there's a spot on the guide, and it ends up between Oprah and Church.

Yes, but it only needs one channel in that range and as long as there is at least one channel there, they don't have to move anything to make room for it.

But there really weren't any available channels in that range prior to the adjustments that are still coming out.

They've got until 8/28 to get SEC Network...we have no problem paying early termination to move to Bright House to get our football fix. It's absurd that every single other provider has picked up SEC Network and Verizon is still dragging their feet.
