I know that down south SEC Network is offered; however, considering you offer the Big 10 network and the Longhorn network nationwide I don't see how a network for such a huge fanbase isn't offered. Especially for the Ultimate Package. Can we please get more sports channels, especially in HD?

Well I finally have it (Buffalo). Unfortunately, it's horrible. It's absolutely horrible. The SD looks beyond ridiculously bad.
Still not able to add it as a favorite, but all I can say is I hope we'll be able to watch it online through Watch ESPN and ESPN 360 and maybe THAT way we can access it online in HD. Because that SD feed is just not acceptable.
Massive FAIL, Verizon.

Still have yet to see it in Virginia? Any hope for the games tonight? Certainly a matter that I would switch over, my kids can get cartoon network any where but watching my Aggies is essential.

Rebooted DVR this morning and now we see channel 75 here in NoVa. Hope the information is legit, that we're all getting HD very soon.

No joy in southern California. No SEC SD or HD. Don't even have a channel 75 or 575 on channel list. However we have TiVo with a FIOS cable card and the Ultimate package. As Funky as this rollout has been, I'll be amazed if Tribune (aka Zap 2it), who supplies guide data for TiVo, will get the necessary info from Verizon in time to make a difference.
I could live with SD for a day or so if HD is definitely a lock. I really am disappointed how poorly this has been handled. The announcement could have been much more effectively worded.
A simple "The new SEC Network will be available to Verizon subscribers nationwide in both SD and HD. Rollout is expected to be complete before kickoff of the Texas A&M vs South Carolina game. Outside the SEC footprint it will only be included in Extreme and Ultimate packages. Don't forget the Buffalo Wings!"
So, much hoopla could have been avoided. Especially if every CSR had a copy of the pertinent information.

Finally showing up here in Chester County, PA. The SD picture is awful.
A little worried as it's still blacked out on ESPN3, and I'll still be at work when the 6pm game kicks off tonight.

GOOD NEWS PEOPLE!!!! I just talked to a representative and she said everyone will get it in HD later on today or tomorrow no matter where you live. She said the part where it said that people in Florida and Texas will get it upon launch did not mean everyone else will get it weeks or months later. She said it will only take a few hours or at latest tomorrow. I asked her over and over and I told her what the announcement said and she told me the same thing.
She really confirmed it when she said that I have the Extreme Package and as of now I have 82 HD channels but her system says that I will have 83 HD channels by tomorrow. The new HD channel wil be the SEC Network. She again confirmed it. Just thought I would pass that along. I live in the DC Metro Area.

Wow, I really hope this is true but I will believe it when I see it.

So disappointed right now that verizon doesn't have HD in Massachusetts...Channel 75 works right now so i have something, I took off work today and tomorrow to enjoy my Gamecocks...SEC still doesn't work online so I have to use someone elses xifinty login to get it to work in HD......Unreal that in 2014 I'll have to hook up my computer to my 60" hdtv to get to watch my team play in HD...I pay 200 a month its absurd theres about 200 channels i don't watch and the one i want to isn't available to watch properly

I was getting it in Northern Virginia on channel 75 early this morning. There was a replay of an A & M/Ole Miss game from last season on at that time which about 4:45 am. No HD. I had to tune to the channel to see if it was on yet as the guide had not been updated with it at that time. I am assuming it was probably just added a couple of hours before. Also cannot get it on the ESPN Watch app yet. Hopefully that will be coming next. Maybe HD will be added soon too. But for now I am satisfied as at least I can watch my Kentucky games.

I was able to get it on channel 75 in the northern virginia area. Does anybody know what the deal is with HD? Are they going to add it as we go? I couldn't get the watch espn to load for verizon either just a few minutes ago, it says it is not offered. If I can get it to stream through the watch espn app I can deal with that, but just to only get it in SD would suck.

The announcement was clear that only folks in Texas and Florida will get the HD version.
A decision will be made later if the HD channel will be delivered to all.
I find it hard to beleive that many people will switch providers over a channel that didn't exist a month ago.

I was told that the area where I live WOULD have both channel 75 and 575.....so SD and HD by Aug. 28th when the first games would be on. When I checked first thing this morning, neither were showing up at all. Just checked about an hour ago and now channel 75 IS showing....but no 575 (HD). I called Verizon to see what was going on. I was told that they did not know when or if 575 would be added. Not sure why......makes no sense, Verizon.
