Curious what the status on this is. Many customers (myself included) are hoping this update will resolve HDMI handshake issues when a Google Tv device is added to our setups
All I've heard from support (or what passes for support) is that 1.9 will resolve this issue and it's coming. Not that it's coming soon or coming later. Just that it's coming.
Give us an inch, Verizon. A little information won't kill you. How 'bout this...maybe you let some of your customers test the update for you? Make sure it does what it's supposed to. And maybe, just maybe those same customers can give you feedback that you can use for future updates. How about it?
You communicate to us, we communicate to you. It's a communication smorgasborg!
Seriously, though. Something other than deafening silence if you please

Please rememeber this is a peer-to-peer forum; questions meant for Verizon should be sent directly to them via email, etc.

Here is a tweet from fiostv I received earlier this morning regarding the size of the external hard drives that 1.9 will support:
"2TB, but don't buy until we release the list of qualified drives - they'll all plug in but we have found mileage may vary."
