On, or after, March 15 2012, Funimation (channel 262) will be removed from the FiOS TVยฎ lineup and you will no longer be able to view this content.
They claim to be discontinuing it due to "very low viewership". We need to show them otherwise! Sign the petition to save Funimation!
I signed the Petition, Love the Funimation Channel, i dont get to watch tv often but when I do sit down in front of it you can bet that the funimation channel is what is on.
Verizon i will pay a few bucks extra a month if need be to save the channel, and if you can 1 up me and play it in HD I'd pay a few more.
Ive had Fios for as long as its been available in my town as well as Verizon cell phones and tell people how much I love both of these services and have converted friends and family members to Verizon.
However if you fail to make an alternitive to just dropping the Funimation Channel flat out than you can forget about anymore business comming from me. In the last month alone i have converted 3 people to family plans on VZW and 1 person to Fios.
Come up with an alternitve dont just drop it im sure multiple people will be more than willing to drop a few bucks a month to save their favorite channel just don't make it crazy expensive.

The Funimation channel is one of the reasons I recently switched to FiosTV. Now that I'm out of the contract cancellation period youwant to drop Funimation. I feel very cheated. I've called Verizon several times but could not get to anyone to take my complaint. I eventually called Tech Support and registered the dropping as a problem. Pleae keep Funimation. I record more from Funimation than any other single channel.
Funimation is the only station in the linup that runs anime for non-children. There is clearly a market for this material. Please continue to serve this market.
At the current moment I'm regretting signing a contract with Verzion for FiosTV.
Verizon please reconsider.
I'd like to add on top of this petition which I signed, MY petition adding to this subject. Verizon if you're reading these boards you're going to lose a LOT of customers if you get rid of the Funimation channel, especially with all the repeat channels you already have. So for the last time, come to an agree with the Funimation network and LEAVE OUR ANIME ALONE:

there are so many other channels that are SOOOO pointless but Funimation is the only channel of its kind. There are hordes of anime fans out there, i cant understand why fios would decide to cancel this channel.
I really hope that Fios take the time to consider its customers opinions and to actually read these messege boards and the petition.
FUNIMATION is one of the channels that made VERIZON FIOS a selling point, It's original, its serial shows episodic -- Verizon pulling it cruelly slashes storylines -- it's an artwork of a channel, showing original animation. VERIZON FIOS, do this & be labelled the uncoolest corporation ever. Better yet, just DON'T DO IT!
My family enjoys the Funimation channel immensely! Anime is one of our favorite art forms and expression. The shows can't be found on other channels. Please save the Funimation Channel!
Signed the petition. Why wouldn't Verizon ask me the consumer what I want? It's my channel lineup and I pay for it; they don't. The Funimation channel represents one of the main reasons I chose Verizon over Comcast. Now I am starting to rethink keeping their service. What a shame.
Yeah **bleep** **bleep** **bleep** at Verizon! I am paying for the highest **bleep** channel package just to get funimation now they are going to **bleep** cancel it! Than fine I am going down to the lowest **bleep** paid TV programming and if they try to do a new contract renewal I WILL FILE a **bleep** complaint with Better Business Bureau because them removing the ONLY **bleep** channel I watch that I paid the **bleep** highest package for and than cancel it is the same as breaking the contract and should allow me to download to the lowest **bleep** TV package they have!
