I observed the Ethernet jack on the back of my STB and connected it to my home network. I checked the router and there is an IP-STB1 device, and when pinged it became active. My Windows 7 desktop does not seem to be able to add it as a network device; it does not show up under "Add a device".
What can I do with it? Can I route data from a networked computer to the STB to play DVDs or stream TV from the Internet? Is there a site or page telling me how to do that?
